New Delhi – The Pakistan Government’s Twitter account has been withheld in India at the behest of the Indian Government. Recently, India imposed a ban on the Popular Front of India (PFI) for five years against which there was a criticising tweet posted on this account; therefore, the ban has been imposed.

Pakistan’s consulate in Canada had posted a tweet in support of PFI which was made viral on social media. It was stated in this tweet, ‘The Indian Government has violated democratic principles by targeting PFI. This action was expected by such an unrestrained system.’ Pakistan’s tweets had drawn censure through social media.
