
Itawa (UP) – Maulana Jarjis who raped a girl with a promise to marry her was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment by the Fast Track Court in Varanasi. He was fined ten thousand rupees. The Maulana is going to appeal in the High Court against the ruling.

The rape incident happened more than six years ago. He had also shot a video of the rape and threatened the victim woman not to reveal the incident.
