Extensive security in Varanasi

Varanasi (UP) – District Court will give its verdict concerning Gyanvapi Mosque on 12th September. Hence the security in the city of Varanasi has been intensified by the Police. 144 Section (Ban on assembling) has been implemented. Police patrol has been increased in sensitive areas, restaurants, Dharamshala’s, and rest houses are being checked and are under surveillance.

Verdict on which aspect will be given ?
After the order given by the Supreme Court, the hearing was conducted in Justice Krushnavishwesh’s Court in the District Court in Varanasi. He had postponed the above-mentioned verdict till 12th September. The verdict is related to granting permission to Hindus to worship Deity Shrungagauri in Gyanvapi.
Four women had made an appeal in the Civil Court on behalf of Hindus
Thereafter the order of the survey of Gyanvapi was issued and it was conducted later. Muslims had objected to that but were dismissed by the Court. Thereafter this case was filed in the Supreme Court but was transferred to the District Court as per the Supreme Court’s order.
