The demand of Central Information Commissioner Uday Mahurkar

New Delhi – Uday Mahurkar, a Central Information Commissioner, has demanded to compile a list of Indian nationals who have incited Islamic Countries against India for insulting the Prophet Mohammad Paigambar. These people should be charged with treason. They are engaging in anti-national activity. Mahurkar said that their property could also be confiscated in such a case. Prashant Bhushan, a Supreme Court Advocate, criticized the demand and claimed that the Government is dismantling the constitutional system in a systematic manner.

Mahurkar further said that the citizens of Islamic and communist ideologies object to my remarks. However, they questioned Zakir Naik and M.F. Hussian. How can secularism be one-sided ? The time when the unity of Hindu-Muslim was based on comprising Hindus has gone and this is a new era in India.

Why does the Government need to be reminded ? Why doesn’t the Government act on its own ? Hindus do not think that the Government will take any action and is quite convincing from the past history. |
