Gyanvapi should be handed over to the Hindus : Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Nishchalanand Saraswati’s appeal to Muslims

Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) – “What has been found at Gyanvapi is certainly a Shivalinga. It is the Adi Vishweshwar. The entire Kashi is a Shivalinga. No one should have any doubts about this. The Gyanvapi should be handed over to the Hindus at the earliest. The complete earlier form of the Gyanvapi must be re-established”, appealed Peethadishwar Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Nish-chalanand Saraswati of Puri’s Purva-manya Govardhan Peetha (In photo here).

Jagadguru Shankaracharya was speaking at a Press conference. He also appealed that Taj Mahal be renamed ‘Tejo Mahal’ and ‘Meccashwar Mahadev’ in Mecca should be reclaimed.

Jagadguru Shankaracharya said,

1. People following the Sanatan Dharma should have no doubts about these facts. We are living in independent India and it is our fundamental right to claim our human rights. No power on earth can deprive us of our human rights.

2. A congregation of all Shankar-acharyas, Mahants of prominent Maths and Dharmacharyas will be organised in Varanasi. We will announce its date soon.

Muslims should accept that their ancestors made mistakes, and show magnanimity

“Muslim society should not accept the follies of their ancestors as ideals when they destroyed human rights. Muslim society should accept that their ancestors committed mistakes and behave magnanimously. In this manner we can proceed to live together harmoniously”, added Jagadguru Shankaracharya.
