
New Delhi – According to the Central Government’s Ministry of Home Affairs, in 1990, Pakistan-sponsored terrorism forced 64,827 Hindu families to leave Kashmir and settle in Jammu, Delhi, and other parts of the country. According to the Ministry of Home Affairs’ annual report for 2020-21, in Jammu-Kashmir between 1990 and 2020, 14,091 civilians and 5,356 security force personnel lost their lives to militancy. The report also stated that along with Hindus, some Sikh and Muslim families were also forced to flee Kashmir.
