Pakistani degree holders ineligible for higher education or jobs in India

New Delhi – The University Grants Commission (UGC) and All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) have said that Indians, as well as overseas citizens of India, will not be eligible for higher education and job opportunities in India if they pursue higher education from educational institutions in Pakistan.

A few days ago, UGC and AICTE announced that online degrees from Chinese universities would not be accepted in India. After that, both the apex education bodies through a joint circular stopped the recognition of Pakistani degrees in all subjects.
