Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh) – Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are becoming strongholds of Christian missionaries. Last year, the ruling YSRCP MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju of AP revealed that the number of Christians in the State has gone up to 25%. It has now come to light that Christian missionaries entered a Temple at Gangavaram in the East Godavari District of the State and prayed to Jesus. The incident came to light after a video went viral on 31st March. Andhra Pradesh BJP in-charge and national secretary Sunil Deodhar had tweeted the video. It shows a group of Christians led by a pastor praying in the Ram Temple in Gangavaram village. The Idol behind the pastor is the Idol of Shri Ram in the sanctum sanctorum. He also accused the church of illegally taking control of the Ram Temple, erasing its traditions, and adhering to Christian culture. Deodhar has demanded the arrest of all the accused Christians. Deodhar also accused Andhra Pradesh CM Jaganmohan Reddy of conspiring large-scale conversion of Hindus to Christianity in the State. Senior BJP leader Vishnu Vardhan Reddy also condemned the incident and said that Hindus have no place in Andhra.
There’s no place for Hindus in Andhra Pradesh.
