Kyiv (Ukraine) – Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine had discussions with the Christian religious head, Pope Francis, on the Russia-Ukraine war, when Zelenskyy appealed to the Pope to mediate for ending the ongoing war with Russia. Zelenskyy has tweeted that he informed the Pope about the grave humanitarian conditions in Ukraine. He had earlier suggested that Jerusalem could be a very good place to hold discussions between Russia and Ukraine on ceasefire.
