Hindus protest in Churu (Rajasthan) over desecrating the Idols of Ram Darbar

The administration has assured to restore the Idols once the road widening work is completed

As it is anti-Hindu Congress Government’s power in Rajasthan, such anti-Hindu incidents take place there. Would the Government have shown the same courage if there were worship places of other religions ?

The entrance of Sujangarh on Salasar Marg was demolished instead of being relocated

Churu (Rajasthan) – Tensions flared up when, under the guise of road widening, the Idols of Ram Darbar that was at the entrance of Sujangarh on Salasar Marg was demolished instead of being relocated. The Hindu organisations were enraged at the contractor for smashing the Idols directly with the JCB machine, so the devout Hindus staged an agitation and recited Hanuman Chalisa on the highway.

The Police and the Administration pleaded with the agitators, assured them that the Ram Darbar and stone entrance will be reinstalled once the road widening work is completed. However, they refused to give a written assurance. (If the Administration wants to reinstall the Idols of Ram Darbar, then what is the problem in giving a written assurance ? Hindus feel that it’s a fake assurance, as they have no intentions of reinstalling the Idols – Editor)
