A rise in Covid-19 patients prompts lockdown in Jilin Province of China

US may impose lockdown if Covid-19 patients increase

New Delhi – China has been hit by coronavirus wave again resulting in two deaths. 2,157 new patients have been registered in China on 19th March and most of them are from Jilin. In order to control the virus spreading in Jilin, restrictions are in place on travel, and Police permission is mandatory for those who wish to travel.

US President Joe Biden’s Chief Medical Advisor  Dr Anthony Fauci has warned that if coronavirus patients  increase in the US, then there may be a lockdown again. The infection may increase due the Omicron BA2 variant.
