The ruling BJP Government in Assam must investigate such madarasas and if they are found guilty, they should be banned.

Guwahati (Assam) – Assam State unit of BJP alleged that the private madarasas are carrying out anti-national activities and producing terrorists in Assam.  BJP has directed the State Government to monitor whether the madarasas are following the instructions of the Government or not.

In four madarasas located in the Chapori area, ‘Sleeper cells’ (a secretive group of terrorists that remain inactive within a target population until ordered to act) are being set up for the extremist jihadi terrorist organisation ‘Al-Qaeda’. This process has been going on for the last four years claimed BJP Spokesperson Ranjib Kumar Sharma while addressing a press conference. Private madarasas do not follow the guidelines set by the Government. Congress has always been appeasing the minorities and has never raised its voice or taken any initiative against the widespread militant networks. Sharma further alleged that Congress, AIUDF and AMSU have always been working in tandem with the Islamic extremist organisations.
