New York (US) – US beverage giants PepsiCo and Coca-Cola, fast-food company McDonald’s, and coffeehouse chain Starbucks announced that they were temporarily suspending their business in Russia due to the invasion of Ukraine.

On account of the horrific events occurring in Ukraine, we are announcing the suspension of the sale of Pepsi-Cola, and our global beverage brands in Russia, including 7Up and Mirinda, informed CEO Ramon Laguarta of PepsiCo.
The Coca-Cola Company announced in a press release that it was suspending its business in Russia. Their hearts are with the people who are enduring unconscionable effects from these tragic events in Ukraine. They also announced that they were going to suspend the sale of cold drinks Sprite and Fanta.
McDonald’s have decided to close down all their fast-food restaurants in Russia.
