New Delhi – The Indian Government has evacuated Indian nationals stranded in Ukraine, as well as citizens of other countries. Among them is Asma Shafique, a young woman from Pakistan. She thanked the Indian Embassy and the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi for this. She has posted a video about it. She will be visiting her family soon.

India has safely evacuated its citizens as well as citizens of other countries from Ukraine. Among them were nine Bangladeshi nationals. The Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this assistance.

Efforts were being made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to evacuate Indian nationals stranded in Ukraine. He spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy over the phone and demanded the humanitarian corridor for safe evacuation.
