In secular India, jihadi terrorists massacred Kashmiri Hindus and forced millions of Kashmiri Hindus to leave Kashmir and displaced them in their own country. No political party, be it right-wing or left-wing, has raised its voice against the violence that took place 30 years ago. Even though India is secular, its secularism was hung on the door. Deafening silence by the world is still haunting Kashmiri Hindus even after 3 decades !

Today, after such a long time, famous director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has made a commendable and courageous effort to bring these atrocities to the world stage through the film ‘The Kashmir Files’. A number of plots were hatched against him by jihadi extremists for doing so. It is unfortunate for Hindus of  India that these efforts of Agnihotri or the film have not received much publicity from the mainstream media. Sanatan Prabhat, however, has always given prominence to the efforts of those working for Hindu Rashtra and Hindutva. As a part of this, the reporters  of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ interviewed pro-Hindu and human rights activists working at the national and international level regarding the plight of Kashmiri Hindus and the purpose of this film.

Recently, Arif Aazakia, a well-known London-based human rights activist, who protests against jihadist attacks on Hindus and non-Muslims in Pakistan and other countries had visited India. He was also present at the screening of The Kashmir Files in Delhi. Speaking to a reporter  of ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ regarding the film, he said, “30 years ago, Hindus had to become refugees in their own country. The film has brought that pain to the fore. If you bring up a bitter truth, you will be opposed ! The same thing is happening with this movie. Everything in this movie is based on the truth and there were tears in the eyes while watching the movie. The brutality of the jihadists is noticed through the film. If Hindus do not wake up, what happened in Kashmir should not be forgotten otherwise it will repeat in Bengal and Kerala.

The Government of India must now act promptly for the benefit of Kashmiri Hindus. Separatist leader Yasin Malik is still a “Government guest”. He should be hanged. Efforts should be made that the population of Hindus is not reduced. Today, there are 57 countries for Muslims. India should not be a ‘no go area’ for Hindus !”

Films depicting the genocide of Hindus that took place in (today’s) Bangladesh in 1971 should be screened ! – Koenraad Elst, Belgium

When contacted about the film, Koenraad Elst, an Indologist and well-known thinker from Belgium, said, “The method of forcing Kashmiri Hindus to flee is called a pogrom.” Under this, some people are killed and others are scared and run away. The same thing happened in Europe in the last century. The genocide of Kashmiri Hindus in the nineties was not covered by the media, the same trend reflects in the Western world as well. The atrocities of Islamic terrorists have always been ignored. Governments around the world feel blessed in appeasement of Muslims. The present Government of India is striving in the same direction, but it will not benefit them at all. A very commendable effort has been made through the film ‘The Kashmir Files’. Every Indian Hindu should watch this movie. Muslims in the country also need to wake up after watching this film. The world needs to know how poor Hindus have been persecuted in their own country despite having a majority. Indian filmmakers should now make films that accurately portray the genocide of Hindus during the Partition of India in 1947, as well as in 1971 in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh). ”

Rahat Austin, who lives in South Korea and fights for the human rights of Hindu, Sikh and Christian minorities in Pakistan, was contacted. He expressed his sorrow over the plight of Hindus. He said, “Now it is time that the Government of India must do something for Kashmiri Hindus. Only our efforts will not change the situation. Only the name of victims of Jihadi terrorism has changed. Earlier it was Raja Dahir, today Kashmiri Hindus. These atrocities led to the formation of Islamic sultans. The same thing is happening in Kashmir. Hindus have never attacked anyone. Today, India is once again on the brink of partition. Khalistan is being demanded in Punjab. Only Hindus in the world have a humanitarian outlook. Nationalism needs to be awakened in India today. Hindus have been beaten up in their own country under the guise of secularism. The world community needs to be aware of the atrocities against Kashmiri Hindus by watching The Kashmir Files.”

When we contacted Maria Wirth, a well-known author, originally from Germany and who has been studying Hindu Dharma in India for the past several years, said “Even though I was only eight years old, I know the forced migration of Dalai Lama, a Buddhist Monk from Tibet in 1959. But in 1971, when millions of Hindus were persecuted in then East Pakistan, even though I was 21 years old, I knew nothing about it. I settled in India in 1990. Then there was genocide of Hindus in Kashmir. Yet a 40-year-old woman like me was completely unaware of it at that time. The movie ‘The Kashmir Files’ is the need of the hour. This film is a must-watch for Indian Hindus as well as Muslims. Muslims should introspect. They should reflect whether their supreme religious power has told them to persecute people from other faiths till they are killed. How it can be possible that the divine power which has created everyone, will possibly give such a teaching ? If Muslims give priority to their faith then so do the Hindus ! ”

Reacting to the film, he said, “The production of the film is an admirable step. This film gives a realistic description of how the then Central Government turned a blind eye to the genocide of Hindus and in fact remained silent. The film seeks to reduce the intensity of injustice against Kashmiri Hindus by calling a genocide as migration. The film shed light on the atrocities against Hindus. This film will show how the conspiracy of ‘Jihad’ works at the political level as well as through the media. The film shows how democratic nations are being manipulated under the guise of the ‘Muslim Brotherhood’. Unless the Himalayas is  Islamised, Sanatan Dharma cannot be Islamised. The Himalayas is the birthplace of Sanatan Hindu Dharma. Therefore, from the start, the focus was on Kashmir. At the Governmental level, the Islamisation of Kashmir continues. After Kashmir, if Jammu too escapes from the control of Hindus, then the future is blink. The Indian state system is against the civilization of Sanatan Vedic Hindu Dharma.”
