Russia declares ceasefire in two Ukrainian cities

Permitting easy evacuation

Moscow (Russia) – On the 10th day of the war, Russia has declared a ceasefire in two cities of Ukraine, Mariupol and Volnovakha. Russia had declared this ceasefire on 5th March from 6 a.m., on humanitarian grounds, for an easy exit of the civilians from Ukraine. Residents of the city of Mariupol, surrounded by the Russian Army, have been allowed to relocate.

Russia said in the UN that, on the Ukraine-Russia border, buses have been provided by Russia to evacuate foreign nationals (including Indian students) stranded in the Ukrainian cities Kharkiv and Sumy.
