WHO concerned
Kyiv (Ukraine) – Ukraine is facing an acute shortage of oxygen. As a result, Ukraine, which was already in crisis, has landed in even more trouble. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has expressed fears that a catastrophic disaster could occur if hospitals in Ukraine do not receive oxygen immediately. There are 600 hospitals in Ukraine. The situation is worsened by the depletion of oxygen in these hospitals, as well as the war-torn conditions, with trucks unable to reach the oxygen-producing factories. There are 1,700 Covid-19 patients. In addition, pregnant women and the elderly may also require oxygen cylinders.
