The European Union finances the purchase of weapons and rifles for Ukraine

Kyiv (Ukraine) – The European Union has declared to finance the weapons for Ukraine. “We support Ukraine. For the first time ever, the EU will finance the purchase and delivery of weapons and other equipment to a country that is under attack and we are trying to impose the financial restrictions on Russia”, said Von Der Leyen, the President of the European Union.

To impose a financial blockade on Russia for attacking Ukraine, the USA, Britain and the European Union will be removing selected Russian banks from the SWIFT international payment system.

We are stepping up our support for Ukraine.

For the first time, the EU will finance the purchase and delivery of weapons and equipment to a country under attack.

We are also strengthening our sanctions against the Kremlin.

Similarly, precautionary restrictions have been imposed on centralised Russian banks. The main intention of the USA and other nations behind this is to block Russia’s financial supply for the war.
