Biggest cargo plane in the world burnt to ashes in Russia’s attack

Kyiv (Ukraine) – In Russia’s invasion, the biggest cargo plane was burnt to ashes. ‘Antonov -225 Mriya’, Ukraine’s biggest cargo plane, was stationed near Ukraine’s capital Kyiv on Hostomel airport; but Russia destroyed it in its airstrike.

This plane was around 84 metres in length and 18 metres high. The interior of the plane had empty space comprising 43 metres length, 6.4 metres width and 4.4 metres height. It had the capacity to carry cargo weighing more than 250 tonnes. This cargo plane had flown carrying 4 tanks in September 2001. The total weight of the plane was 253 tonnes, which is a world record till today.
