Kolkata – Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati of Puri, who arrived in Bengal for a royal bath on the occasion of Makar Sankranti at the ongoing Gangasagar Mela, has stressed the concept of ‘Hindu Nation’.
Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati said that through video conferencing, He talked with the top representatives of 52 countries in which 15 representatives including Mauritius, Bhutan categorically stated that if India declares itself a ‘Hindu Nation’, they too will move in this direction.

According to media reports, Swami Nischalananda Saraswati spoke about Nepal, the world’s only ‘Hindu Nation’, and said that Nepal is now becoming China’s puppet, which is a result of our foreign policy. Swamiji expressed His concern over targeting of Hindus in Bangladesh. He expressed displeasure over the targeting of Hindu temples and Deities and the demolition of statues in Bangladesh.
Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati says that the denigration of Hindu Gods and Goddesses will not be tolerated anywhere in the world. He questioned that if minorities live comfortably in India, why can’t Hindus live in Bangladesh. He said that after all Bangladesh was carved out of India.
