Kolkata (Bengal) – “It was not Gandhi’s peace movement that brought Independence to India. The actions of Azad Hind Fauj and Netaji brought Independence to this country and it was admitted by the then PM of England Clement Richard Attlee,” informed Ardhendu Bose, the nephew of Subhash Chandra Bose in an interview with ANI.
Previously, Anita Bose, the daughter of Netaji Bose, said in an interview with Zee News that India was unfair to my father. My father was a devout Hindu and never killed anyone under the name of religion. At the time of the partition that took place due to Gandhi, many people were killed.

Anita Bose further said that my father had a rebellious attitude and hence, Gandhi couldn’t control him. A group of the Congress party worked against him and some of his colleagues were criticised. Like other freedom fighters, the supporters of my father did not get any benefits from the Government.
