Priest gets Shrikrushna’s Idol treated at the hospital for a broken arm at Agra

Agra (UP) – Shrikrushna’s devotee priest came wailing to the hospital, with a request to bandage the broken arm of an Idol of Shrikrushna. Doctors obliged and bandaged the Idol to fix the Idol’s arm. Priest Lekh Singh said to the doctor he accidentally broke the Idol’s arm while  bathing it in the morning. A video of the crying priest circulated on social media. Lekh Singh has been serving as a priest at Pathavari temple for the past 30 years.

Lekh Singh said that he went to the hospital and requested the doctors to put a bandage around the Idol’s arm, but no one took it seriously. Tears welled up in his eyes as he felt devastated inside.

The Chief Superintendent of the District hospital, Dr Ashok Kumar Agarwal, said the priest was crying, saying, “Treat the Idol.” Seeing the feelings of the priest, doctors registered the Idol as a patient with the name Shrikrushna. They tied a bandage around the Idol’s arm to satisfy the priest.
