Srinagar (Jammu-Kashmir) – Due to the terrorist attacks on Hindus in Kashmir for the last few days, the Hindus of the Valley are again preparing to flee the State. After the killing of 2 Hindus and 2 Sikhs by jihadi terrorists in the last 4 days in Srinagar, an atmosphere of fear is looming among Hindus and Sikhs. The Hindu families of Sheikhpura have decided to flee.

In 2003, a decision was taken to resettle Hindus in Sheikhpura of Budgam District of the State; but now because of these attacks, the Hindus here are unable to muster the courage to even step out of their homes, said the Hindus.

Sanjay Tiku, President, Kashmiri Pandit Sangharsh Samiti said that an estimated 5,000 Kashmiri Hindus in Budgam, Anantnag and Pulwama Districts are preparing for an exodus fearing terrorists.
