A Christian missionary arrested in Uttar Pradesh for trying to forcibly convert Hindu neighbour to Christianity

Editorial comment

As told by Swatantryaveer Savarkar, ‘Conversion means changing the national identity’. Hence, Hindus demand that the Government should pass Anti-conversion Law at the national level.

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – Ashish John, the evangelist trying to convert Hindus in Mahoba District of the State was arrested recently. He had allured Sanjay Dwivedi for converting into Christianity; he had also pressurised him to do so. Therefore, Dwivedi registered a complaint to the Police. Sanjay Dwivedi is not keeping well these days.

Christian John allured him of curing his ailment and offering some money for his business. Dwivedi has mentioned in his complaint that he had a chronic headache and John knew about it. John told him to get converted to Christianity for getting cured. Having received this information, the devout Hindu organisations contacted the Police and a complaint was registered. John had converted to Christianity 20 years ago. (It would be worth investigating, how many Hindus were converted by John by alluring them in these 20 years. – Editor)
