Those with one child will get special benefits, while those with more than two children will not get the benefit of Government schemes
Congratulations to the BJP administration in UP ! Instead of making such a law at the State level, the Central Government should make it for the whole country. Such a demand has been made for the last several years, hence the Central Government should pay attention to it.
New Delhi – The Uttar Pradesh State Law Commission has come up with a draft of the Uttar Pradesh Population (Control, Stabilisation, and Welfare) Bill, 2021, and has invited suggestions on it from the public. The law prohibits those with more than two children to benefit from Government grants or schemes. Whosoever, after the commencement of the Act, in contravention of the two-child norm procreates more than two children shall be ineligible to apply for the Government jobs under the State Government, get promotion in Government services, and contest elections to the local authority or the local Government body.
