It is commendable that the Government begun realising the importance of Ayurveda and is implementing it officially. In fact, it should be implemented all over the country

New Delhi – Delhi Municipal Corporation is going to run a special department Post-Covid Care in the hospitals with the help of Ayurveda and Panchakarma. In the recovery stage of Covid, patients experience weakness. Additionally, if they are suffering from other diseases then the recovery may be delayed. They might have lower immune system. Such patients can be treated in these Post-Covid Care Centres.

North Delhi Municipal Corporation Mayor Jai Prakash said, “Post-Covid Care Centres would be started at the Panchkarma hospitals of Prashant Vihar, Padam Nagar, Rajendra Nagar, Haiderpur, Begumpur and Karmpura. We are initially targeting to create a capacity of providing healthcare to 1,000 patients per day”.
