Teaching 1 : When a traveller has firmly decided to take a particular path, he may be troubled by many storms; yet, he will wait patiently and as soon as he gets the opportunity, he will again begin to progress in the direction of his goal.
Explanation : ‘Traveller’ refers to a spiritual seeker and ‘going on a path’ means walking on the spiritual path. ‘Troubled by many storms’ means facing obstacles in spiritual practice.
