
New Delhi – India’s Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi said in a Hindi news channel programme that ‘China cannot be trusted’. General Dwivedi added that war is not in the interest of any country; but if a war situation arises, the Indian Army is ready to respond with full capability as per our strategy and strength.
General Dwivedi said that the Indian Army is rapidly adopting modern technology. The Indian Army is constantly working on new military capabilities, including drone technology. India has advanced drones that can carry AK-47 rifles and fire missiles. If there is a drone attack from China, India is fully capable of giving a befitting reply.
The situation on the India-China border is normal
Regarding the situation after the clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in the Depsang and Demchok areas of eastern Ladakh in 2020, Army Chief Dwivedi said that the situation is normal now. Whenever necessary, the armies of both the countries resolve issues through dialogue so that peace is maintained.

Indian Army will always have to be alert against Pakistan
Regarding Pakistan, the Army Chief said that Pakistan is not taking any concrete steps to stop terrorism. Due to this, the Indian Army will have to always remain alert. In Jammu and Kashmir, where there was a threat of terrorism earlier, tourism is now flourishing. The Army has carried out many successful operations against terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, which has brought peace and stability to the region.
