Prayagraj Mahakumbh Parva 2025
Prayagraj – Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police Prashant Kumar held a meeting with the authorities through video conferencing regarding the security arrangements of Mahakumbh Parva. At the time, Prashant Kumar expressed his dissatisfaction over Police personnel not reporting at the Prayagraj on time and delays in the installation of CCTV cameras.
Considering the safety of the Mahakumbh Parva, Prashant Kumar directed to conduct a comprehensive patrolling campaign along the Nepal border with the help of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). He also directed to install maximum number of CCTV cameras in all major chowks and prime locations and connect them to the Police Control Room.
