Follow your religion and be tolerant towards other religions : Siddaramaiah

Siddaramaiah, Karnataka CM quotes Dr Ambedkar

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah

Ballari (Karnataka) – “Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar has said in the Constitution, follow your religion but be tolerant towards other religions. There must be tolerance to accept other religions. Respect other religions while following your own religion. If we respect all others, it will mean showing respect to Ambedkar, Constitution and Dharmaguru,” stated Chief Minister Siddaramaiah while speaking at a Christian function here.

The Chief Minister added, “Some people say that Siddaramaiah supports Christians and Muslims and opposes Hindus. That is a lie. I have the same respectful sentiments for all. The caste system in our society has caused problems like religious fanaticism and inequality.” (Instead of abolishing caste system, all political parties are playing caste politics for their selfish gains. Editorial Perspectives

  • In this country, since Mohandas Gandhi, all parties have asked Hindus to be tolerant. However, when Muslim fanatics follow their religion but attack Hindus with all types of Jihads, not even one party, including Congress, gives any sermons to them.
  • Will Siddaramaiah answer why there are attacks on Hindu religious processions from the Mosques ?
