Kundarki (Uttar Pradesh) – Along with the results of the assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, the results of the Bypoll elections for 9 seats in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly were also announced on November 23. In this, Ramveer Thakur of the BJP won the Kundarki seat with 1,70,565 votes contesting against 11 contenders from the Muslim community.
It is noteworthy that this constituency has a whopping 60% Muslim voters. Similarly, 57% of the voting was done here. This clearly shows that Muslims voted for Singh in large numbers. Due to this, the Samajwadi Party candidate has been defeated after 31 years and the BJP’s lotus has bloomed here again.
When asked about Singh’s victory, local Muslims said that Ramveer Singh helps us in all matters. We are sure that he will bring about the development of our constituency. Singh is a grassroots leader. The candidates of Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party only give us promises.
Religious equation in Kundarki constituency
As many as 60% of the voters in Kundarki constituency are Muslims, these voters play a crucial role in the victory or defeat in the elections here. Here, Hindu votes are 1,56,000, while Muslim votes are 2,39,375. It is clear from Singh’s victory in the elections that Muslims declared their full support for him.
