Law and order in the entire country may be disturbed : All India Muslim Personal Law Board

  • Alleged insult of Prophet by Yeti Narasimhananda

  • All India Muslim Personal Law Board President Khalid Saifullah Rahmani’s anti-social statement

New Delhi – The President of All India Muslim Personal Law Board Khalid Saifullah Rahmani has made a statement on alleged insult of Prophet Muhammad by Yeti Narasimhanand. He said, “Narasimhanand’s arrogance in insulting Prophet Muhammad is intolerable. If the youth turn violent as a reaction, the law and order of the entire country may be disturbed. The opinion of Islam is clear that all religions have holy figures. Whether we believe in them or not, it is important for us to respect them. Islam believes in one God. Muslims do not believe in idol worship; but the Quran forbids speaking ill of Deities worshiped by people following other religions.”

Editorial Perspective

Hindus never acted in a manner that would disturb the law and order when their religious processions were attacked, temples were vandalised, atrocities were committed in Bangladesh. Note how religious fanatics threaten based on an alleged insulting statement though.
