Praveen Nettaru

Sulya (Karnataka) – A Facebook user named Ibrahim Khalil has informed through his Facebook post that two persons named Azharuddin and Jamal hatched the conspiracy to kill Karnataka BJP leader Praveen Nettaru at Zakaria Juma Masjid in Bellary. After this post, Azharuddin and Jamal went to the Police station and filed a complaint against Khalil. Police are investigating the allegations. Praveen Nettaru was murdered in the year 2022.

Ibrahim Khalil wrote in his Facebook post that Jamal Bellare and Azharuddin Bellare had first started a conversation at Zakaria mosque building in Bellary to kill Praveen Nettaru. I am ready to state this anywhere. I was contacted by the Mangaluru-based journalist of Channel TV9; I will tell him the truth about the incident. There is no need to be afraid to tell the truth. These two and the head of the mosque Mangala or Ila Sumangalawa or anyone else, I will go to Court and die. Terrorist activities are going on in Bellary’s central mosque. We should not support this.

In this regard, a complaint has been filed against Ibrahim Khalil by the Bellare Jamaat, while Ibrahim Khalil has also complained to the Police stating that he had been receiving threats from Azharuddin and Jamal since 2018.

Editorial Perspective

From this, it is clear that conspiracies to kill Hindu leaders are hatched in the mosques. As it cannot be expected that the Congress Government in Karnataka will investigate this case and take action against the Jihadis, the Union Government must intervene.
