Universal laws to prevent misuse of the ‘Artificial Intelligence’ : Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Mumbai – We are trying to have regulations and control to make digital enterprise transparent. ‘AI’ is being misused world-wide. We are appealing for the making universal laws world-wide, to prevent the misuse of artificial intelligence. This statement was made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He was speaking at ‘Global Fintech Fest’ at the Jio World Convention Centre at the Bandra Kurla Complex

Prime Minister added further,

1. Indian Banking Sector is active 24×7 through internet banking and Apps. Earlier people used to tell me in the parliament, India does not have adequate number of bank branches. There are no banks in the villages nor is there any internet facility there, how are you going to bring about the ‘Fintech revolution’ ? But in a decade, broadband internet users rose from 60,00,000 to 94,00,00,000. The banking activity did not reduce even during the Corona period in India. Banking activity is on for 24 hours because of QR Code and UPI.

2. There are numerous holy feasts and festivals in August. We recently celebrated Shrikrushna Janmashtami. India sees a similar enthusiasm for economics and the share market as they have for the festivals.

3. Earlier foreigners used to be amazed at the cultural diversity in India; but now when they come to India, they are amazed to see the Fintech diversity. From the time they disembark at the airport till they shop there is ‘Fintech’ methodology everywhere. India has revolutionised ‘Currency to QR Code’
