Millions of Hindus in Bangladesh are observing Janmashtami, but there is no joy on their faces
Mathura (Uttar Pradesh) – “There is a need for us (Hindus) to remain united because if we are divided, we will be slaughtered and get destroyed for certain. Today is Shrikrushna Janmashtami, and millions of Hindus in Bangladesh are worshipping their Deity under the shadow of fear. Though they are celebrating the festival, there is no joy on their faces. After the change in power in Bangladesh, the local Hindus did not imagine that their existence would become so difficult due to the extreme fanatics. They never thought that everything would be destroyed. The pain of Bangladeshi Hindus has intensified on the Janmashtami festival,” stated Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He visited Mathura on the occasion of Shrikrushna Janmashtami.
If we (Hindus) remain divided, we will be destroyed!

The Chief Minister further stated that,
1. Hindus need to come together regardless of their castes and creeds
Considering the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh, Hindus in India should remain united rather than getting divided based on castes.
2. Opponents are blind to the atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh
These people (opponents) remain silent on the happenings in Bangladesh because they fear losing their vote bank if they speak out. Hence, they are silent.
3. They can see Palestine, but not Bangladesh
Those who speak on other global issues, can see problems in ‘Palestine’ but not in Bangladesh. They can see what is happening elsewhere in the world but cannot see what is happening in Bangladesh.
