Mumbai – Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has ordered strict action against the officers and employees found obstructing women and delaying the entire process including issuing necessary certificates, filling out applications for Chief Minister’s Ladki Bahin Yojana or asking for bribe from applicant women. CM gave strict orders to the administration on 3rdJuly. He also instructed the District Collectors to ensure that the entire process is carried out transparently and swiftly. He has also directed to appoint Divisional Officers in each District to monitor and control the implementation of this scheme.

Brokering in order to provide documents or filling applications related to this scheme would not be accepted. The Chief Minister said that if brokering is noticed anywhere across the State, strict action would be taken against the head of that office and the brokers.

Keeping in view the rush for registration and application for the scheme, the application deadline has been extended till 31stAugust 2024.
