New Delhi – Delhi witnessed heavy rain on 27th and 28th June. The previous 88-year rainfall record was broken by this. Due to this rain, 4 to 5 feet of water accumulated in many places. The roof and support pillars of the parking lot area of Indira Gandhi International Airport ‘Terminal-1’ collapsed due to rain. Many cars were buried under it. One person died and 8 people were injured. About this rain, the Meteorological Department said that we could not predict this rain.
We couldn’t predict the heavy downpour in Delhi. – Acceptance of the Meteorological Department.
👉 Earlier, when Meteorological Department predicted ‘no rain’, people made sure to venture out with umbrellas and raincoats, the same holds true to this day.
