Bihar has the highest death toll of 44 people
New Delhi – 65 people have died in 6 states so far due to heat wave in the country. Most of them 44 people have died in Bihar. After this, 10 have died in Rourkela in Odisha, 5 in Rajasthan, 4 in Jharkhand, and one each in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.
According to the weather department forecast, the temperature may drop by 2 to 4 degrees in some states in the next 5 days. It includes the states of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Monsoon rains have started in Kerala from 30 May. Along with this, rains have also started in the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur and Assam.
