Due to the removal of Article 370, sending weapons directly from Pakistan to Kashmir has become difficult
New Delhi – The intelligence agencies have received information that the method of obtaining weapons in Kashmir has changed for the Jihadi terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba. Till the abrogation of Article 370, terrorists used to send weapons directly to Kashmir from Pakistan. After this article was abrogated, the weapons could not reach Kashmir directly due to India’s alert security forces. Hence, Pakistani terrorists started supplying weapons through Punjab. Intelligence agencies have received information that these deadly weapons are being delivered to Kashmir through Khalistani terrorists in Punjab. Arms supply is being done through ‘Babbar Khalsa International’ and ‘Khalistan Liberation Army’.
Babbar Khalsa International terrorist Ramandeep Singh alias Raman is a resident of Ferozepur in Punjab and is playing a key role in this case. Raman was earlier smuggling country-made pistols and many other weapons across the country. The security forces are trying to track him down on a war footing.
Editorial Perspective
This shows that similar to Bengal, the President’s rule should also be enforced in Punjab. |
