Those aspiring to work for a brighter future for the world may choose to come to India

  • Statement by Eric Garcetti, the United States Ambassador to India
  • Come not to preach in India, but to learn, says Garcetti

New Delhi – It is my privilege to live in India. If you want to see and experience the future, come to India. Those who aspire to work for a brighter future for the world should come to India – expressed Eric Garcetti, the United States Ambassador to India, highlighting India’s potential and opportunities. In 2024, India is estimated to maintain an economic growth rate of 8%. As a result, it is believed that the United States is expressing admiration for India’s achievements.

Garcetti added that the US administration attaches great importance to its relationship with India. We are not here to teach and preach but to listen and learn. (If so, India should make it clear to the US that disseminating anti-India statements and reports under the anti-India conspiracy in the US should be stopped by US Institutions – Editor)

Editorial Perspectives

  • The US knows the Indian economy is strong today and can beat China and the US in the coming decades. The US economy is also on the verge of collapse. That is why the US appreciates India, which the people of India know well.
  • If this is so, the US should stop saying that they are concerned about issues such as “Minority Muslims in India are insecure, Manipur violence, or CAA law (Citizenship Amendment Act).” Otherwise, it might be perceived as mere lip service and superficial diplomatic gestures, playing us for fools.
