Javed, the second suspect in the murder case of two Hindu children in Budaun, Uttar Pradesh, apprehended

Budaun (Uttar Pradesh) – The Police have apprehended Javed from Bareilly, the second suspect in the murder case of two Hindu children. The incident occurred on the evening of 19th March in Baba Colony, Budaun, where Sajid and Javed slit the throats of two minor Hindu brothers. Following the incident, Sajid fled the scene but was later killed in a Police encounter, while his brother Javed managed to escape. In the aftermath of the tragedy, enraged locals vandalised Sajid’s shop and set it ablaze. A circulating video shows Javed denying involvement in the murder, stating, ‘I have nothing to do with this murder. Whatever was done, was by my brother.’

1. Javed and Sajid are siblings. Following Sajid’s death in a Police encounter, a gun was recovered from pocket. It was determined that Sajid had fired at the Police using this gun.

2. Alongside Sajid’s body, authorities found a large knife typically used for slaughtering animals, as well as four cartridges. These items have been seized as evidence.

3. The motive behind the murder of the children remains undisclosed. Both the father and uncle of the suspects have been detained by the Police for questioning.

4. Sangeeta, the mother of the deceased children, refuted Javed’s claims, asserting, ‘Javed is lying. He was aware of everything and was involved in killing my children.’ Similarly, Munni Devi, the grandmother of the slain children, stated, ‘Javed is responsible for the deaths of both my grandsons. I urge authorities to thoroughly investigate the matter.’
