Leaflets written with ‘Sar Tan Se Juda’ found
Bharuch (Gujarat) – An attempt was made to set on fire the famous Shri Pashupati Mahadev Temple here in the early hours of 22nd March. When the Police saw the CCTV footage of the incident, a miscreant was pouring inflammable material in the temple. Later he fled away from there. Soon there was a fire. When the local Hindus saw it, they extinguished the fire. The matter was reported to the Police. Police have found some leaflets with ‘Sar Tan Se Juda’ written on it. Police are investigating the incident. Some time ago, jewellery worth Rs 5 lakh was stolen from this temple. This temple is managed by Shankaracharya’s Dwarka Peeth.
