Shriram Temple will be protected by anti-drone systems

Uttar Pradesh Police will buy 10 anti-drone systems from Israel

Ayodhya (UP) – Shriram Temple will be secured using Israel’s anti-drone system. Uttar Pradesh Police is set to buy 10 anti-drone systems from Israel. The process is in the final stage. These systems will be installed in highly sensitive places like Mathura, Varanasi, and Lucknow along with Ayodhya. The anti-drone system was used on the inauguration day of Shriram Temple. The system was temporarily provided to the Uttar Pradesh Police by the National Security Forces and Special Defense Forces; however, the Uttar Pradesh Police have decided to purchase it. Following several tests, the purchase of an anti-drone system from Israel is finalised.

How does the anti-drone system work ?

The anti-drone system can detect and destroy any drone within a 3 to 5 Km range with its laser-based technology. This lets security systems discover enemy drones at the right time and act. This system also can take control of enemy drones. Apart from the system, ‘snipers’ are being deployed, which can target and destroy any drone. A sniper is a trained soldier or Police officer, who has extremely good long-range shooting accuracy.
