I turned to Spirituality while in the war zone – GD Bakshi (Retd.) Major General

GD Bakshi (Retd.) Major General

During my 41 years in the Indian Army, I was involved in the 1971 war, the Kargil war, and the Kashmir skirmishes. At that time, I saw soldiers dying around me. I gave water to many when they were dying. Seeing all this, automatically Spirituality came into my life. Western knowledge is based only on theory; but Indian philosophy is based on experience and intuition. The book written by Anand Mathews Zschoche is based on such spiritual experiences and feelings.

Salvation is not possible without Guru’s grace – Ashok Kini (Retd) Colonel

Ashok Kini (Retd) Colonel

When the Kargil war was going on, I had the responsibility of handing over the dead bodies of our dead soldiers to their families. While doing it, I became introverted and started my journey towards Spirituality. Moksha (Final Liberation) is not possible without Guru’s grace in life; but for that we need spiritual emotion. When Anand Mathew Zschoche came to me, there was a lot of negativity in him. Many troubles befell him when he was very young. When I gave him a direction, he tried with equal fervour. That is why today he is spiritually awakened.

Sanatan Dharma teaches how to be happy in life ! – Anand Mathews Zschoche

Anand Mathews Zschoche

My life was full of challenges and hardship during my childhood. Later I toured the world as a cinematographer. When I came to India, I understood Spirituality, as well as the purpose of life, but I found that the youth of India is far from it. Sanatan Dharma teaches ‘how to be happy in life’. While searching for myself, I had Shri. Ashok Kini as my Guru. He gave me the direction. This book is not only about my spiritual path, but everyone’s spiritual journey.
