Religious fanatics accuse Khan of worshiping Idol
Shirdi (Ahilyanagar) – Actor Shah Rukh Khan and his family visited Shirdi and took darshan of Shri Sai Baba. Due to this, Muslim religious fanatics targeted the actor and abused him. Shah Rukh Khan along with his daughter Suhana, visited Shri Sai Baba temple and prayed for the success of his upcoming film ‘Dunki’. A picture of Khan and his daughter praying at Shri Sai Baba temple was published on social media. After this, the religious fanatics took to X to accuse Khan of worshiping Idol; they called him a kafir (one who does not believe in Allah) and criticised him using foul language.
A X user wrote, ‘Shah Rukh Khan is not a Muslim. Had he believed in Allah, he would never have gone to a temple and prayed. According to Islamic scriptures, Muslims are prohibited from worshiping Idols as it is considered a sin. Idol worship is forbidden in Islam’.
Editorial Perspective
Is this the so-called secularism of these people ? Many Hindus visit dargahs and offer chadar. Other Hindus do not oppose them; but the religious fanatics cannot tolerate any Muslim visiting a Hindu temple ! Hence, the secularism has remained only for Hindus to follow. Please note that so- called liberals do not speak against such incidents. |
