Anti-terrorist squad of Uttar Pradesh arrested two ISI operatives

Pakistan financed anti-national activities

Lakshmanpuri/Lucknow – The Anti-terrorist Squad of Uttar Pradesh arrested two ISI operatives, Reyazuddin and Amritpal alias Amrit Gill. Both sent information related to the Indian Army base and other important public places to the ISI. Money was credited to the bank accounts of both the accused of materialising anti-national activities. In Reyazuddin‘s bank account, 70 lakh were deposited as a part of the transaction. The Police had earlier arrested another man named Izharul Hussain in a similar case in Bihar.

Editorial perspective

The Government should ensure that the cases of such anti-nationals are tried in Fast Track Court and they are sentenced to death.
