A Maulana arrested for sexually assaulting a minor in a Madarasa in Muzaffarnagar

Muzaffarnagar, UP – An incident of a sexual assault on a minor has recently come to light in a madarasa in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. The Police have arrested Maulana Israhel, who would impart religious education. The victim was said to be 18-year-old. The accused Maulana also made an obscene video of the victim. The Maulana has also been accused of other such lewd acts with other students. According to the complaint filed by the aggrieved student, he had been admitted to the Madarasa about 3 years ago. Maulana Israhel slowly lured him into a trap. Then proceeded to sexually assault the boy. When the boy protested, the Maulana threatened to kill him. Due to this threat, the victim remained silent for 3 years while continuously enduring this sexual assault. Finally, the victim filed a Police complaint against the Maulana. The Police have registered a case against the Maulana under the POSCO Act. Currently, the Police are investigating the matter.

Madarasas are now becoming Maulanas’ personal brothel ! The Government should immediately ban such madarasas and put such lecherous Maulanas in jail.
