Just saying ‘Allah-hu-Akbar’ does not lead to progress; getting educated is also necessary

Ex-Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Najeeb Jung’s advise to Muslims

(‘Allah-hu-Akbar’ means Allah is Great)

Najeeb Jung (Former Lieutenant Governor of Delhi)

Barabanki (UP) – Merely saying ‘Allah-hu-Akbar’ will not lead to progress. Education is more essential. The religion which begins with the word ‘iqr’ (educated) is the most backward today. Today Muslim children need religious education as well as worldly education. Former Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Najeeb Jung gave an advise to the Muslims here that Dalit Muslims are the most backward in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. He was speaking at the Bhumi Pujan programme of Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Memorial Degree College.

Najeeb Jung added that people have a misconception that students studying in madarasas lack talent; but the reality is not like that. He also claimed that when students who have studied up to 8th standard in madarasas go for further education, their talent emerges. (Why do madarasa students become Jihadi terrorists ? Why madarasa students are sexually assaulted by their teachers ? Najeeb Jung should also talk about this ! – Editor)
