Muslim fanatics pelt stones at Hindus’ houses during Eid in Kushinagar (Uttar Pradesh)

Kushinagar (Uttar Pradesh) – On 28th September during Eid, an anti-Hindu speech given by a political leader was being played on a DJ. When a Hindu youth tried to oppose this, the fanatical Muslims tried to gang up on him and beat him up. Stones were also pelted at his house. As a result, the Hindus took to the streets. The Police however rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. The Police have arrested 6 individuals in relation to this incident, including 5 Muslim youth. Two tractors and a trolley used for the DJ have also been seized. The incident took place in the Gola Bazar area of the city.

After a complaint filed by Prince Jaiswal (a resident of that city), the Police have registered a case against 14 people including a few unknown people for creating a religious discord, pelting stones, etc. under various Sections.

As is evident from the frequent attacks they face, Hindus are vulnerable not just in Islamic countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh, but also in Hindu-majority areas.
