Islamabad (Pakistan) – “Pakistan will continue to raise the Kashmir issue at every world forum because it remains the oldest and yet unresolved matter before the United Nations”, said Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar, Pakistan’s interim Prime Minister, during an interview with the news channel ‘Voice of America’. He made these remarks prior to his departure for the United Nations General Assembly meeting. Interim Prime Minister Kakar accused India of transforming Kashmir into the world’s largest prison and suppressing the voices of Kashmiris. (The world is well aware of the situation in Kashmir, and no matter how much Pakistan attempts to make false accusations, it will not yield any positive results – Editor)
Taliban militants are launching attacks along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. In that context, Interim Prime Minister Kakar stated that despite security concerns along the border, it will not impede the upcoming general elections in the country.
